The little Mustang has a really solid weight to it, not the flimsy plastic feel I was bracing for. The red paint and the 1966 body shape look spot on sitting on my desk shelf. My kid keeps stealing it, so I might need a second one.

My son hasn't put this down since it arrived — the red paint is glossy and it feels sturdier than the cheap cars he usually breaks. The 1966 Mustang shape is spot on too, right down to the grille.

The little Mustang is officially licensed, and you can tell — the proportions and the grille look right, not like the generic toy cars my son usually gets. It's small enough to toss in a jacket pocket, and the doors actually open, which he's been obsessed with all week.
